Let's not get carried away here. If Faulk didn't fumble THREE times in the first half, LSU is winning big by halftime, not trailing by 20. If you are going to credit Faulk with the victory, then you also need to acknowledge that fumbling twice inside your own 10 yard line is potentially flirting with a little danger. That said, I still love Faulk though.

I was a senior in HS that season. I went to that game with 2 girls from school who were wanting to ditch the whole first half and head to a party. I said, "hell no, we got this." Faulk fumbled the 3rd time and I got pissed, we were down 3 TDs at that point so we left. Showed up to the party and the first person we saw said "How bout them Tigers and Kevin Faulk?" None of us believed him, but then everyone there was talking about how epic he was in the come from behind victory. I have NEVER left an LSU game early since that day.
