The dude left because he didn't want to ride the pine for 2-3 years. Parrish coming in next year makes that possibly longer. If 2 QBs get injured this year then it'll be because of shite o-line play, so it wouldn't matter who QB 3 is. Coach is incapable of using jedi-mind tricks to convince him otherwise. I hope the guy does well.

LSU must show the ability to develop a QB and a passing game. If they can't, then they will have to hope for an upperclassman transfer (Mettenberger-Burrow) to compensate for the deficiencies. If if they can't develop, then why the hell would a 19 year old kid hang around to sit the pine and not learn anything.

All I know is it's entertainment anyway. So I can't wait for football on the tube, cool fronts, BBQ, and fishing. Let the games begin. Lord knows I've been getting way too excited watching golf.

To keep it simple, he wasn’t very good. Not shitting on the kid but he was t good enough to win the job. Go somewhere where you can play!
