And no offense...but 2 1/2 minutes of passing in an 8 minute high school highlight reel isnt going to convince me that he can consistently throw the ball against SEC competition,

You know, you could say the same thing about JJ as well....Shep prolly throws just as good and is a running threat...

Can you confirmed that he can throw at a COLLEGE LEVEL instead of watching a high school film?

No, it's just that college has a different offense with college level players. Can you REALLY expect a 5* QB to be ready on the 1st day?

Shep ran the spread option...Meyer's COLLEGE team runs that...its no different...kids learn the fundamentals early...Thats why Gilbert will thrive at TX b/c Lake Travis runs the same spread that UT runs...just different terminology.

Most 5* players are ready to play from day one...esp at the skill positions...Trenches I can see your point...

he was on campus 9 months before the first game, and didn't even play vs washington.

Well I think he's in a better position at RB/WR....The QB job can leave to JJ or CG

I mean, this whole rumor that shep suddenly forgot how to throw is insane.

Buddy Songy's DUMBASS keeps perpetuating this myth day in and day out on his radio show. He's probably never even seen Shepard throw a pass in his life.

ETA: SFP's dumbass is another one on here who keeps perpetuating this myth along with Roaad.

Yes, the air in CFB is heavier at SEC stadiums therefore the ball does not travel with the same velocity and accuracy as it does at Texas highschool football stadiums. It's a known fact in physics.
