It's as if he has ignored the fact that some of the best players on our team (and in some cases also college football) have come from other states.
I guess Patrick Peterson should have just stayed in Miami.

You're operating under the premise that everyone that grew up in Louisiana actually likes Louisiana. That is not the case.
I left Louisiana when I was 22 and I would never live there again permanently. Just doesn't fit me. If I had the opportunity to leave earlier I would have.

If I were an elite recruit and knew I could start anywhere. I would pick where my friends and family could see me play and be a hometown hero.

some kids just want to get away. Look at all of the out of state guys we got last year. Bama does the same thing. You can't keep them all. I know it is hard to believe but not all kids born and raised here want to go to LSU.

Yeah, OP. Patrick Peterson, Matt Flynn, Jamarcus Russell, Richard Dickson, and all those other OOS guys should have just stayed in their state. Hell, what is Ed Paris doing? Why wouldn't he wanna represent his state?

There's always those kids that wanna be "different" bc they think it sets them apart, wear Yankees hats, all that jazz, those are the types of kids that go out of state

Next year Mack, tolliver, McFadden and you could include Beckner and that's the 4 best guys that we'd offer...
