We should bring them back in some capacity. Maybe pair the white helmets with the gray facemasks. They were a staple of the uniform for a long time so it's not like we're throwing shite at the wall. White and gray facemasks are clean AF.

I have always preferred the traditional white jerseys with gold helmets and pants. Several years ago they "watered down" the pants stripes by adding narrow yellow piping between the white and purple stripes. This took away the sharpness between the colors. These"watered down" stripes are now even on the white pants.
I'll never understand why LSU spends so much money on different colored uniforms trying NOT to look like LSU.
