Thompson has the second lowest fielding percentage on the team and has been saved by good first base plays all year. I have watched or attended every game this season and very rarely seen the shortstop or third baseman for our opponents bounce throws to first base like Thompson does. Not sure what you have been looking at.

Big asset to the team and great year. Good to see. While he we can agree he may be a bit streaky I'd like to think that the opposing teams noted he was hot and adjusted how he is pitched to. Now he needs to makes some adjustments. He will be fine. Love to see him start to warm up and set the bases on fire in the post season.

He’s better hitting behind Jones and either Travinski or Jobert. Since he moved to the 5th and 6th holes JT, Jones and Beloso have all slumped.

He’s doing very well this year. Sometimes he tries to make the highlight play when he really doesn’t have to. He has enough arm strength to slow down a bit on the reception/turn and will still get the out. He’s got +10 HR power and 300 BA ability. I thought we needed an upgrade at SS but I was wrong. I’m glad that CJJ’s off-season portal targets didn’t work out. I also think he’s one of our best base runners because he really studies the pitchers and gets some ridiculous jumps. I agree with your comments about his hitting streaks. When he’s on a streak, he’s a great option leading off but I also like him at 9.
