more talented, maybe younger or injured, QBs in the SEC than Lee?
Another thing. That isn't the topic. Talent =/= "best QB" necessarily. All I know is, one QB leads the SEC in QB efficiency, with only 1 INT. That QB is leading the #1 team in the country to blowout victories against everyone they've faced, and seems to be getting better every week. That QB currently holds the #2 spot in his school's history for most consecutive passes without an INT, and he's in the middle of another streak en route to breaking said record. I'll take that one.

Yes, yes I can blame people for bringing a QB into the conversation that isn't currently playing

But the OP thread was "in the SEC". Others may be injured etc but they are still in the SEC. We aren't talking bout some 5* HS recruit or juco transfer for next year.

Still...it's nice to have a qb finally worth mentioning in this type of discussion

Lee has a chance. I still think Wilson will get 1st team and Murray sneaks in at 2nd team.

What kills Lee is attempts.

Murray blows today. Lee has a legit shot at first team all SEC, and should get second team barring a meltdown at the end of the year. Not bad considering where are two QB's have been.

And Murray doesn't really have an excuse because Georgia has a semblance of a rushing attack. Wilson doesn't have that luxury . . .or an offensive line.

Honestly, I think Brantly would have been in that mix had he not gotten hurt. He was playing well before the injury.

Its how I interpreted it. Peyton manning may be out for the year but I would never say that "this year" Paintet, Jackson, AJ Feely, or Cassell are better than him "this year"

I am with you on this. He is so inaccurate.

Yeah, really looks bad out there. Not sure if he is hurting or what.

I have not watched UGA much this year, but damn he looks bad.

ETA: and it is not like many of the bad throws are because of pressure.

JLee is great...but slow down there bud. Put Arkansas's offensive line in front of him and let him get hit every single time, I'm not sure what he would do...he surely wouldn't perform as well as Tyler Wilson. As much as I hate hearing about it from all the flagshippers, Wilson is the best in the SEC.

Or allow every defense to play pass because his team has absolutely no running game.

I assume you just responded to me because my post was the last in the thread. I never said that JL was the best in the SEC. And stop calling me Shirley.

Wilson? Nope
Murray? Not a chance

Lee is better than both

Lee will probably get 1st team because of who he plays for.

I do think that Bray, Murray and Wilson are asked to do a lot more for their teams than Lee is for LSU, and that that should be considered when you discuss who is the best.

But, Lee would certainly be deserving.

And it's not even close. After watching the games today. Although A. Murray's last TD wasn't half bad...

Wilson is definitely better. That dude gets absolutely destroyed every game because his O-line is awful and he stays in there and nails most of his passes. If he had a half decent O-line, he'd really be killing teams. I haven't seen many QBs take the hits he's been taking. It's bad...even against Vandy.

The SEC has some terrible QBs this year, but that doesn't mean Lee hasn't played really well. He is in the top 3.

I agree Wilson gets absolutely crushed every game, but has one of the best receiving corps in the nation...Lee will probably get the shaft due to the fact that he splits time now with JJ...but none of this matters as long as they keep playing the way they have been..next Saturday can't get here fast enough

after watching all the other qbs in the SEC THIS YEAR how in the hell can you say he isn't?

LSU fans are ridiculously too modest or too afraid of thinking they are a homer for stating the truth.
