- Have to do the little things.
- Moore out an estimated 3 weeks. Nothing is structural but has swelling. Needs rest.
- Said he left Guidry in because he put up 3 straight zeros and thought they had trouble seeing his slider due to the shade.
- Have to make the plays - error in 8th. He has earned that time.
- Thank God for Milam defensively. He is hitting balls on ground and not weak fly outs. So he is adjusting. Needs to protect (I think he is saying rest) him some because of his heavy load in the field. (My add is he can’t because he is too valuable defensively.
- Players need to know they are needing to get on base so walks and HBP so they can play small ball. Have to find different ways to get on base. Can’t string together 4 good ABs which is their target.
- Credit OU for doing exactly what they needed. Credit them defensively. Reminds him of last years team.
- Got to get back to work.
