Javonte Smart is too out of control on his drives!

I love the dude, but he needs to pass the ball! He is determined to hoist a shot up no matter what.

He was trying to draw fouls and the refs were having no part in it.

He drew contact at least 3 times late in the game. I get the strategy: draw a few fouls and force them out of the zone.

I disagree. I saw him hesitate many times when he should have taken the shot. Second guessing himself.

He was probably trying to get to the line instead of us continuing to miss 3's.

Very unimpressed with him. The monetary investment in getting him on campus is not justified.

Agreed. I’ve seen this trend regarding him for awhile now. Don’t know why, but the coaches seem to trust his play, so trust what they know and see.

Did you watch the game? We don't HAVE coaches, we have guys swapping players in and out of the game. Looked like most 2nd half 'adjustments' were figured out on the court by Waters, Mays and Smart. Benford's in over his head, and he'd probably be the first to admit it.

So that being the case, by all means let's play 3 basketball-smart guards as much as we can. Probably the only reason we're still around.
