So you seriously think you are the first one to start a thread about our new starting QB? fricking tard

eta: let me explain it slowly since you are obviously not very smart. If I start a thread that says, "I hope we beat Oregon" people are going to harass me. Not because they want to lose to Oregon, but because it is obvious and has been discussed a lot already.

Understand???

You should post a thread with a list of topics that you want to see discussed. Your easily upset. Perhaps more-so with the big season opener coming up causing an increase in time you spend on this board. Quit playing God trying to control board topics and grow up!! Reply to what your interested in and leave the rest.

The trouble with all this General Lee business is he doesn't have a Stonewall Jackson in the mix.

Our defense shall be the Stonewall

This thread hasn't shown negativity to Lee. The negativity is aimed at you. Guess you somehow missed that.

No reason to start another thread about the same topic. Not trying to play 'God' of the board but TD.com does have rules.

"Do take a minute to check for a existing thread on a topic of interest to you before starting a new thread."

Also your posts can be whacked if you: start a new thread for every thought that pops into ur head.

And fwiw 'The General' is a horrible nickname.

It is truly horrible for so many reasons.

As long as Jarrett throws it accurate-LEE and avoids playing sloppi-LEE, I think we are strong enough defensive-LEE to be devastating-LEE good. Now, if I could just stop saying things so idiotic-LEE, but for some reason I seem to be doing it increasing-LEE.

Clever

I like JJ, and I like JL. What worries me about JL is that he couldn't beat out the #12 ranked QB in the SEC for the starting position for the last two years. That's sad! and scary!
But all things being said, LSU didn't go 11-2 last year on the scrambling strengths of young Mister Jefferson. And nor will it go 11-2 this year on the accurate arm of young Mister Lee (or rather, "General Lee")

LSU will do well with a solid caretaker QB like Matt Mauck or Matt Flynn, neither of whom were spectacular QB's.

Everyone should relax: the three most important variables in winning a NC are (in order of importance):
1. Talent (kinda tangible - as in Rivals.com rankings)
2. Coaching staff (position coaches > head coach)(an intangible, but become more apparent as the years go on)
3. Team chemistry (a real intangible)

I think we have at least 2, maybe 3, of these variable down pat. I don't realistically expect an undefeated season this year, but we are a realistic probability for a BSC bowl game. My prediction: a 11-2 or 10-3 season.

Yeah. Wrong troops to be led by a General Lee. Might be a mutiny.
