now im not one to jump on Jlee like everyone else, but ill take not completing as many passes (and maybe a little discipline on defense would be nice too) over throwing 1 or usually 2 pics every game any day.

Apparently you and I have been watching different games this entire season. For the record I've been following the Louisiana State University Tigers, based out of Baton Rouge, LA and members of the Southeastern Conference.
Hmm, I dont know, seeing how Ive had this bad habit of following LSU football for the last 15 years of my life.......gone to school and graduated there.....gone to a bunch of games with wild fans and tiger locked in a cage .......had Saban as a coach, now Miles through a couple of hurricanes and a QB who has a bad habit of throwing pick sixes.......
Hmm.....yea, we are still wearing white at home right? The starting QB's number WAS 12 right? Im pretty sure we were watching the same team. Especially if they had the letters L.S.U on the side of their helmets.

Fixed it for you.
Improved it for you.

Armarti9, this will be my last response to your nonsense posts. You obviously have some issues that cause you to be obsessed w/ bashing JLee.
It does not matter to me who starts for LSU as I support LSU. My whole ojective in defending JLee is first he is an amatuer athlete that chose LSU over many other top level offers. Second, he has shown tremendous character throughout this season. Third, he is not one of the professionals on that sideline. I simply do not like for fans to criticize the players, but feel free to criticize the professionals. Constructive criticism is fine, but the lambasting that JLee has taken is quite over the top.
Lastly, JJ may be LSU's long term starter. I don't know and neither do you. But, how anyone can say that JJ is better than JLee based on what we have seen thus far is beyond me and the facts simply do not support this argument.
THE END

Specs1 what you are doing for Lee me and others are doing for Jefferson.
Im not trying to "bash" Lee. Im pointing out, like so many others have, that right now JJ is the better option based on what we have seen on the field. Unlike others Ive given the guy credit where credit is due but I cant ignore his flaws either? Now if Im to be perfectly honest with you, I really cant blame Lee at all for most of what happened this season. You got to most if not all of it in Miles and Crowton's lap for letting the kid hang out to dry like they did.
Now we can be at a disagreement on that. But Im with you as far as supporting whoever is on the field. Its not like I wont be calling for Lee if JJ struggles in the bowl game. You and I are just on opposite sides of the same coin.
If Lee comes out and wins the starting job next year and shows improvement.....I'll buy both you and me a Lee jersey.......bank on it.

Has everybody forgot about Lee and his interceptions...we LOST to GA and AL two games we should have won. He also three a pick 6 at Tulane. I think he needs to pack up and geaux to a small college in Texas. Hopefully he won't see the field next year. We are going to have Jefferson who is going to be so much better next year and Shepherd a true freshman who will be able to step up to the plate and be a leader for the team. He is already recruiting for LSU and he is not here yet. Garrett from MS will be coming as well, who will be probably redshirted. Hatch will be a backup for last resort.

Wow. That's your first post.
Retire now, for you will never top the idiocy displayed in that one.

I don't know how long you have been a LSU fan, but I probably have been a fan alot longer than you. I was hoping for Jarrett Lee to do great things this year, but that didn't happen. I believe when you play 9 games, you are not a freshman anymore. All I want is for LSU to have a winning team again, and Lee is not our man. He has had more than enough chances. If anyone was done wrong, it was Jefferson...they burnt his redshirt. So we have to move on. I just hope we get a good defensive coordinator. Just like you, I have a right to my opinion...

JLee brought the team from behind on the road at Auburn.
JLee scored a TD to end the half at UF, and then one to start the second. And if our D doesn't shite all over itself afterwords we're in the game. This was Lee at his best all year IMHO
JLee responded to the first pass against UGA(the play call was horrible, IDK what we were thinking) by driving LSU down the field to tie the game. The D then shits on itself again(see a pattern)
JLee threw aweswome bombs repeatedly most memorably the 1st half one against Bama
JLee led a fourth quarter drive to tie the game against the number one team in the country.
JLee led the biggest comeback in LSU history

jl was 53% from playing app., north texas, troy
It was a 20 yard pass that went 66 yards on a run. Byrd ran for 46 yards.
In fact JJ threw two passes for completion that were longer than any thrown by LEE
Against Tulane at home Lee was 40% and a pick six after starting 4 games.
JJ will start the bowl and silence the minority!

Bet Georgia is glad bayoubilly57 isn't a Bulldog fan. According to your idiotic views Stafford should have transfered to a small TX school also. The guy is a potential first round pick and once he learned to look off defenders he had a major turnaround. 7 pics and 13 tds as a RSFR to 9 picks and 22 tds as a senior. I don't know if Lee will start but I sure don't want him to transfer. We are going to need a lot more than JJ and Shep the next 3 years. My hope is that we get to see all of these guys be successful at LSU and beyond.

That is just such a boneheaded statement. You don't think the experience Lee received this year is going to pay off in coming years? Lee looked pretty good initially. The kid just absolutely lost confidence and you could see it in his decision making.
You can "believe" that "when you play 9 games you are not a freshman anymore" all you want..but he is still a Freshman. There is still a really good chance that Lee bounces back and turns into an effective SEC QB. No reason to just give up on him.

I agree with what someone said earlier, both JJ & JL and soon RS are very big parts of this team, no matter who starts and who doesnt.
But you know what, for a board that hates a guy so much, y'all sure talk about him a lot ... is JL y'alls new Saban? lol jk

Below you will see the SEC Only Stats for Jlee. Look it up at lsusports.net.
In the future you may want to look it up before you out yourself as an idiot!
PASSING GP-GS Effic Cmp-Att-Int Pct Yards TD Long Avg/G
Jarrett Lee 7-6 117.7 99-187-13 52.9 1358 10 66 194.0
Conference stats actually a little better than season as a whole.
I hope you don't have job that matters to anyone. That would be bad for the public. Please tell me you don't drive.

38% v Ala 4 int 2 picksix at home dry feild
33% v om 2 int at home dry feild
40% v Tulane 1 pick six at home dry feild
JJ on the road improved Ark team pouring rain first start 40% no int 2td's !
I have not met one fan that thinks jl is as good as JJ every fan I'v talked to wants JJ to start.
JJ is going to be a superstar he would have been a five star had he not broken his arm his JR year.
He has a much stronger arm then JL and has more confidence then JL which is amazing considering jl had a year head start.

JL
60% v app state
55.5% v nt
66.7% v MS
58% v troy
specs 1 my point is he got his % from weak opp at home. He passed for 60% against fla after 2 pick 6s and their subs were in and we were 30 points behind. In the first half ag. starters he was awful.
