This thread is a joke right?

JM had a good night at the plate, is leading or 2nd in the sec in steals, and has a good batting average!

He is allso a great outfeilder.

last night triple single rbi.

This is classic. People hate seeing a brother with so much talent. Jared Mitchell is a stud and heck of a ballplayer.

We sacrificed a chicken to the idol Jobu in the blatt's parking lot before the first game against Arky and J-mitch had a great game. This black magic/voodoo shite really works !

He was at bat four times tonight and got on base once; and that was because he WALKED! I don't think he intimidates any opposing pitchers.

Actually, I don't think skin color has much to do with it. For a while there Jared wasn't playing well, but these past few games he has been good. I can remember the Super Regionals and he just didn't do very well.

And a bunch of players on our football team are black, and almost all people have no problem with it. I just think some people like throwing out the race card. This isn't 1950. People want Helininhi out now, but guess what? He isn't black unless he has some rare skin disease I don't know about.

you think white football players aren't looked at differently than black ones? Flynn and Russell ring a bell

people are still racist in Louisiana, and you are naive if you don't believe that.

well, like everything in life, it doesn't apply to everything. To many times on this board and in the stands Flynn is called the "game manager" despite throwing more pics and JR is called dumb. Mitchell and Landry show boat whenever they make a 1 handed catch even though every other player in baseball does the same thing. Louisiana has racism, whether you want to believe it or not. I guess you missed all the marches a couple of football season ago about the confederate flags. More people flew them despite the players asking the fans not to.

there is a shite ton of racist fans, doesn't apply to all LSU fans

Flynn might also be looked at differently cause he won a national title. Just something to think about. If all of the people of LA are so racist, why is Glenn Dorsey one of LSU's most beloved players? You are being ridiculous. If we were racist, we wouldn't even watch the sports where black people players.

I can read that you say you don't think it applies to all LSU fans, but it seems to me that you think it. You seem to think just because someone likes Flynn better than Russell, then they are racist.

if you think Flynn is better than russell you are just a dumbass. I like Flynn a lot, but there were racist comments all over tiger stadium when JR was the QB here. I have several friends who are racist and several who aren't. You on the other hand are just ignorant to the facts of life. Its the South, it hasn't disappeared.

I'm sure you haven't heard any black obama jokes during the last 2 years

Well i know people will always have stereotypes. That will never change. But do you really think the people in this thread wanted Mitchell pulled just because he was black? However uneducated in baseball their statements were, i dont think it had anything to do with his skin color. I think it was just dumb opinions. I mean, look at everyone who wants Helenihi pulled. I watched the game with a few guys who tend to mak recist types of remarks last night and they were screaming to take Helenihi out and put Leon in.
