Funny you should mention that:

JR had 6 of his 8 interceptions in 2 games (he suffered a concussion in the 1st half of Tenn and finished the game). He didn't throw an interception in 9 of his 13 games in 2006. Pretty impressive for not being able to read a defense

As for not being mobile, I did hear something about Mett playing hurt for most of the season which killed his scrambling ability. One of the reasons why I am a fan of his is that he was awesome at taking those little steps around the pocket to avoid the rush.

He improved from last year, but that is not a strength of his. It is widely considered to be his biggest weakness.

LSU played arguably the toughest schedule in NCAA history in 2006. 4 top 8 teams on the road, the only team to ever do that. 2005 had Katrina where LSU went 11-1 in the regular season despite losing our bye week and playing 11 straight games without a bye.

He also had a much better running game at his back. This year's SEC was not very good IMO
