Don't recall him receiving any weekly awards, but it seems like every game he was either the top tackler or close to it. Then, I saw this from PFF.
I'd love to have him back for his senior season.

I hope he comes back too. Upperclassmen make a difference in the O line and front 7. They’re stronger.

He's about to have a strong game against Oklahoma. They're still holding unhealthy amounts of animosity towards him for choosing LSU over OU, and they'll be coming right at him trying to set an example. He's gonna absolutely make them pay.

Phillips needs to comeback if he wants to make the mid rounds as an NFL draft pick. Right now i see him as maybe a 4th round pick.He has two more games to prove he could be a higher pick.
