I am not mad at anyone. The only person I jumped on was the one guy who was being a jerk. This is obviously a good question since it is still being debated, like it or not.

Wow can't believe I have read what I have read from my LSU brethren, but it is what it is.

Not even a question I never want LSU to lose period end of story, doesn't matter how, what, when or where. LSU losing in no way helps the University, the students or the athletes of LSU much less the Football program. Losing during the season is hard enough but losing in a bowl game on a National stage with recruiting implications on the line. Anyone who would think that is ok so it will affect another program is an idiot

Regarding hoping the Gumps lose, during the season absolutely I hope they lose because by the Gumps losing that will affect the chances of LSU winning the West and playing for the SEC Championship. But the season is over and the bowl games do not affect how LSU stands in the SEC race so I will be pulling for every SEC team to win their bowl game, because we are all still the SEC family and even though we might like other family members more than others we should still pull for a family member when they are playing outside the family.

Now during the SEC Championship game that was another story I was rooting like hell for UGA to pull it out, but they didn't so I will support Bama in the BCS National Championship game because that is what is good for the SEC family!!!!

I disagree with this. How does Bama winning a national title hurt LSU? IT doesn't. Their recruiting is already top notch. Everyone knows Saban and would play for the guy. They have won 2 out of the last 3 and are playing in three out of four. The damage is already done with that.

LSU losing though puts a different spin on things. It makes a lot of other schools in the SEC look just as good or better than LSU. USCe, A&M, UF, UGA. If LSU wins, they will finish in the top 5 yet again, have an 11 win season and continue to be viewed as one of college football's elite teams.

I can't believe people would choose for LSU to lose. Ever.

If you choose Bama to lose requiring LSU to lose you are less of an LSU fan and more of a Bama hater. You might as well root for Auburn, you'll fit in well there.

You guys a fricking lame. It's not even a serious question and your trying to rip the guy a new a-hole and say he's not a real fan.theres nothing else to rant about so why not make up situational questions? Answers the question and move on.

Id rather a Lsu win cause after reading that laugh at Clemson thread I would never want Alabama to be able to talk shite to me about what happen in the chicken bowl last year.

I agree somewhat, but right now there's this aura brought on by the media of Bama and Saban being so far above everyone else, rarely beatable, a dynasty, etc. A Bama loss would bring them back down to earth in the eyes of some top recruits.

Totally agree. That same reasoning would make LSU and others look just as good to some recruits should Bama lose.
