Maybe the Big10 has been better than the SEC in 2023 and 2024.
Disagree. The WHOLE conference isn’t better. Never was nor will be. OSU, UM, PSU, now Oregon have been good for years. They’re staples. Just like Bama, LSU, UGA, now Texas. They’ve been perennial contenders for years. If the NC is PSU and OSU, that doesn’t mean the B1G as a whole is somehow the new Power. They’re gonna have to do it, with multiple teams, for the next decade or so to take that torch.
I’m a Tiger fan so I don’t have a dog in the fight but i personally would want to see either ND or PSU win it all.

I have always thought the "SEC! SEC!" stuff is gay af but I honestly think a lot of the impetus behind NIL(maybe not hugely,) xfer portal, and expanding the playoff field was to break the stranglehold that the SEC has had on dominating college football

How would a Big 10 vs SEC standings matchup go?
I'd have the SEC 11-5 if they all played head to head.
The Big 10 may be better at the top but the SEC is better top to bottom.
1. UTa > Oregon
2. UGA < PSU
3. UTk > Indiana
4. Mizzou < OSU
5. Ole Miss > Illinois
6. Bama > Iowa
7. LSU > Michigan
8. USCe > Minnesota
9. A&M < USCw
10. UF > Rutgers
11. Arkansas > Washington
12. Vandy < Nebraska
13. Oklahoma > Michigan St
14. Auburn > UCLA
15. Kentucky < Wisconsin
16. MS St > Northwestern
17. Maryland
18. Purdue
