Yes, the Bama offense is better than Auburn because they have better athletes across the board and a system that is more diversified and well honed, and Hurts can hurt us with his legs more.

Where do you get these ideas from...

Bama struggled to beat tamu by 9 points...

They are not that good....wipe off the gloss...

Is the Bama offense any better than Auburn's?They have 2 common opponents (Arkansas, Ole Miss) and they did about the same. Rushing vs. Ark Bama: 43 att, 308 yards Auburn: 47 att, 345 yards Passing vs. Ark Bama: 13/21, 188 yards passing Auburn: 21/30, 284 yards passing ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rushing vs. Ole Miss Bama: 51 att, 365 yards Auburn: 51 att, 326 yards Passing vs. Ole Miss Bama: 15/24, 248 yards passing Auburn: 14/21, 235 yards passing If these numbers are any indicator, and we can hold Bama to around 20 (held Auburn to 23, but 0 in the 2nd half), then it's on Canada to manufacture 21 against the best defense we'll face all season.

It is not found in statistics!

Auburn has played the together schedule of the two and supposedly had a defense that could rival Bama's. I think Bama is better than Auburn, but I'm not buying the "Bama can't lose" BS, especially considering that they haven't played anyone worth a shite yet.

previous games played by LSU won't factor into this game like people think. the bye week is going to result in the best coached football game we've seen since 2007

I never felt like their offense was the problem.

Bama's offense is actually rather simplistic. Where they really are able to enforce their will on teams is their offensive and defensive lines.

I would agree, but Auburn just got real conservative with the big lead. I don't think bama will do that.

I don't think it is. Auburn had/has a good offense, with a very good passing QB. We shut them down.

During the post game show Saturday night, Hanagriff said LSU does not match up well with Bama. I'm not sure that is totally accurate. We have stout DBs, and Bama has an inaccurate quarterback. Hurts didn't do much against us last year, besides his TD run which was made possible by holding no-calls.

The big differences are that Bama has a much better coach than Auburn, and is playing at home, with referees whose paychecks are still being issued by an office in Birmingham the last time I checked. And needless to say, LSU has to find a way to score points on that defense. Canada needs to have the kitchen sink ready to throw. It was fun playing against Ole Miss's turnstile run defense, but it won't be quite so easy next Saturday.
