I guess we need to bring Garrett in. He's obviously the fricking answer. After all he's "heady", he's a "blue collar player", he's a real "game manager"... All the things that Jefferson is definitely not because he's just "athletic" and "gets by on talent" and "is a run first QB".

sad part of this post is if RS or JL or CG would have taken over for JJ last year (for any reason)their name would be taking the place of JJ's on this list.. so maybe we should just say LSU's qb whomever that may be is the answer.

Agree there.
Insert next young QB here____________ hasn't done shite, no improvement, takes sacks, blah, blah, blah.
A lot of posters think they got the miracle cure, that can't get through the child-proof cap.

seriously what did JJ do this past season to prove he is #2 in SEC? He made no improvements from game 1 to the last game. Dumb to even consider him a top qb in the SEC until he proves something

boom.

SONIC BOOM!....lol

but we can pray that he does well, I really hope he does, I just have doubts.....but I have found strength through prayer...I hope JJ has found Jesus...

Is Jordan on of the top 2 QB's returning in the SEC?

As of now i'd rank em:

1.Mallett
2.Brantley
3.Jefferson
4.McElroy
5.Garica

Brantley will most likely be great in the future, but next year's gonna suck for him. He's basically going to have to rebuild an entire team both physically and emotionally. He has big shoes to fill. Idc, like Tebow or not, he made Florida what it is the last 4 years. With those younger receivers and linemen, he's gonna be doing a lot of runnin and not so much gunnin.

It will be a pleasure to list all the negaJJ's here when he is crowned All-Sec. He goes into the season tied with Mcelroy. Coaching additions, offensive line improvements more experienced weapons,a healthy running game and experience will equal an all SEC birth. For the last time he DID improve despite all the b.s he had to contend with. Dont make me list them for the trillionth time. He will not be the best QB ever to play at LSU but will be very serviceable for our goals at hand.

First off, Jarrett Lee me be the worst quarterback Ive ever seen, maybe he should take up intramurals, and as for Jefferson, in going to the games, I cant tell you how many times I go to the games and see recievers streaking down the field with 2,3,4 steps on defenders and he chooses to just stand there and look at the coverage like an arubics cube that he just cant grasp. LSU won 9 games last year despite him, any decent quarterback with a 6'5 terrance tolliver, brandon lafell, reuban randle (thanks a lot les miles) and stable of EXTREMELY talented recievers could light at least Louisiana Tech or Vanderbily or UL for gods sake up for a crap load of yards and points. If yall want to know why the running game didnt work this season? look at how many in the box, dont blame the offensive line, dont say that Miss. State dominated in the trenches, theres a reason why we barely beat or didnt blow out some of these turd sandwiches and its Jefferson, this isnt saying that he wont improve next year, but based on his regression last season, I see a change comming. LSU has enough running backs on that roster who can run the ball to give half of them to Nicholls and still lead the nation in rushing. Yes, Jefferson may not completely crap on everything like Lee does, but he is still a major screw up. Why not try Chris Garret, look at the quarterbacks we won national titles with, Matt Flynn and Matt Mauck, how many times were they voted all american, the same amount as me and half the people on this board combined, zero. As an LSU fan, I take off of work, I buy all the gear, I buy stuff from the ridiculously overpriced concession stand, for what? For the love of LSU, but is it really fair to me and any of the other thousands of people who do the exact same thing to bumble around like a bunch of morons on offense and barely beat the likes of Louisiana Tech and letting teams like UL and Miss State and Ole Miss think that they are on our level, I would support them either way, Im just saying, LSU fans are the best fans in the nation, but we deserve better than barn burners against the turd sandwiches of the college football world and if miles cant handle that, then maybe he needs to go to Michigan because we dont deserve mediocrity, we've been through that already, we deserve better

He doesn't have to be ALL-SEC for me to be happy with him, but I do want to see a better on the field game management by him and I think we will.

I thought he played his best over-all game against Auburn and Bama game was good despite not great stats till he got hurt.

The only thing I can come up with as to way some claim Washington to be his best game is cause that was his highest QB rating game.

Are you talking about the same Washington defense that gave up 23 to the UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO?
