K. Y didn't you show this? thais is the last play of the game?
LINK
And these numbers?
J.Jefferson Passing:13-24-1-202
Rush: Jefferson 8-11 w/ 2Sacks for 17 yds. Lost
OR: J.Jeff. car-8/G28yds Lost-17yds net11yds. Avg.gained=1.4gained
JJ maybe in top 6 if he is the QB for LSU next season. Has some talent, but lacks leadership skills and gray matter during decision making under pressure. And if he plays full time, he may set an all time LSU QB record for "SACKS". He lacks pocket presense!
JMHO: he is a good athlete, but not a top tier QB and will never see the field at the next level.

I don't see what your point is in the clip. I imagine it's a called play to take what D gives you and try to make it happen. You don't think Joe Pa was gonna give you a sideline route, huh? Were you expecting someone wide open in FG range or streaking wide open for the EZ, a la Iowa '04? (Talk about late game meltdowns!)

Disagree. He has the pre-sense that pocket will dissolve before he gets set. JJ had a pretty fair year, for a QB throwing with a swarm of bees after him every pass play. It could've been much worse.

QB the year before had a pretty good rushing game to work with. He just wasn't ready for prime time.
I don't know it as fact, but believe Hatch was to be the sacrificial lamb after the RP thing. Then the leg break forced play of the Lee card, saving JJ to build a hand for '09 and beyond.
Something that get's by haters on here is, you have to play the hand you're dealt.

Are you kidding? JJ is going to be a decent college qb by the time he leaves LSU but he will never be good enough, especially due to the fact that LSU appears to not have much of a QB coach, to latch on with an NFL team and play QB. He has some raw talent but not enough to carry him there without more tweaking.
Sorry to bust your bubble.

I think hatch would have been the starter all year, had he not been hurt at auburn and georgia.

LSU isn't in NFL, so moot.
Mauck=NC, so too can JJ.
Just don't give away the game.

seriously what did JJ do this past season to prove he is #2 in SEC? He made no improvements from game 1 to the last game. Dumb to even consider him a top qb in the SEC until he proves something

I don't know if he will be top 2 QB in SEC this coming season but he already is an upper echolon SEC QB. BTW he also has the arm, size, and atheletism to play in the NFL and could develop into a solid NFL QB if he continues to progress.

There are going to be a lot of SOBs eating crow next year. JJ will do well. If I gave enough of a damn, I'd take down screen names so I could call some of these fake arse "fans" out when the kid leads this team past Bama next year. I'll remember some of you, I'm sure.
Don't get on his nads when he plays well. You'll just look fickle and weak.

Though he's certainly got a long way to go, JJ is taller, faster, has a stronger arm, and probably better mechanics than Tim Tebow. If Tebow gets a chance to play QB in the NFL, so will JJ.

Have you been under a rock.
Or has the overwhelming evidence of Garrett and his performance swayed you to give him the nod

I would like to know what the real agenda is for the JJ appologists?
This sentence is so fricking stupid on so many levels:
1) Why does there have to be any sort of agenda besides being a fan of LSU football and wanting to support the 20-year-old starting quarterback of that team?
2) What sort of agenda are you implying is even possible--I can't help but get a racial connotation in your suggestion. And frick that.
3) Anybody who calls someone who tries to be positive and support anyone--much less a 20-year-old student athlete--an "apologist" is not only tiny-dicked, but completely unoriginal and seemingly incapable of anything but regurgitating the same tigerdroppings they choke on here every day.

Dan are we just dismissing 9 win seasons now?
I don't think so, just suggesting that they are, in fact, human. In the midst of the greatest 4-year stretch in the history of their program, they still managed to have a 4-loss season in there. And in that season they had a record-setting Heisman-winning QB. Again, not that that was a terrible season, but I think it shows conceding every game we play against them from now till the end of time like a lot of douches on here have done, is pretty fricking stupid. Every team has these seasons. Every single fricking one.
