How could JJ not improve? Even if he's not being coached up like some of you think he should be, he's headed into his third year of major college football and practicing against guys like Peterson etc.
I also don't see how the OL won't improve either. Miles has clearly put a huge emphasis on how to play physical football.....don't ya think that the OL is the biggest part of that?

I would hold off drawing conclusions based on a scrimmage in the spring. We don't know if there were drops, poor routes etc.
For that matter, it might have been really windy.
There were several dropped passes and defended passes per eye-witness accounts as well as a tough cross-wind.

Must have been a REALLY localized effect. I looked at the DEQ's LSU monitor (near the band practice field) and the wind speed during the scrimmage never got above 5 mph. But he IS only 19.

Those good for nothing liars. It figures that good for nothing JJ's just up to his old tricks. No progressing son of a gun. I new it! Thanks for the heads up. Keep us posted with your expert investigative pursuits.

you failed to mention the addition of Wilkerson, which to me will be the x-factor with the interior line, as well as Gonzo replacing the lame duck WR coach we had all year

Yes. Give the man a chance. He's your starting QB for the 2010 season.
