Interesting stat about LSU's SEC record so far

In 5 of our 7 SEC series, the team who lost the first game of the series ended up winning the series. LSU was the victor of 3 of these series (MS State, Florida, and Bama) and lost 2 (Georgia and Missouri). The odds of this have got to be pretty low

I remember years ago we lost most Friday games in the SEC but also won most of those series. We didn’t have a dominant Friday starter that year. Either beginning of the CPM era or during the Smoke years. Same thing happening this year with the inconsistency from Hess. Need to move him to the pen and use him as a 4th starter in the postseason.

I remember Smoke one year playing with the notion of not pitching our ace Friday’s to gain the advantage in games one and two.
