........It might be a little easier. When I see teams opening up with Utah St., Ball St., Mercer, etc. I have to ask myself why LSU always has to take the hard route? This is three straight years that LSU's been 0-1 after the first game and it's a bummer. You feel as though the season's over with before it ever starts. Meanwhile a team like Auburn is fired up and feels good about themselves. Until all teams are required to play nothing but Power 5 programs I think LSU's making a mistake in always doing things the hard way. I know this issue has been beaten to death but just another 2 cents on the topic. Fire away !!

LSU getting beat by crappy teams is the problem, not scheduling them.

The hard route? FSU and ucla weren’t good teams. They aren’t even average teams. Lsu just shite the bed.

How did you feel when LSU won against Oregon, Wisconsin and the other "first" big games? You knew those wins meant something.

For those other schools you mentioned winning the patty cake games and feeling all high & mighty. Those victories mean nothing.

I don’t have a problem opening the season with a big name team. It’s more excitement to start the season. The problem lately has been poor performance.
