re: Inspiration for new Tiger Logo

Blahhhhhhhhh I can't do this, I typed out an amazing, all-ecompassing response to what I've heard about a new logo that was gonna blow your faces off & then copy.paste,? some bullshite, i don't know it's gonezo but anyway...

yeah I heard lots about a new logo back in January that's in the works for LSU. Full bodied tiger with some aspect of a shadow involved. No new "LSU" as I presume the geaux font will live on, and lots of details involving the royalty situation and whatnot.

Pretty clear Nike is behind the whole op & expect it to follow suit with their recent work on UConn's Huskie logo where they kept the existing font underneath a new design.



I got loads more, but from my own admission there's a strong to quite strong chance this is complete bullshite considering my source, but figured toonce's revenue stream and contract life will probably soon be up and thought there might be some legs to this.

Here's hoping anyway

The inspiration for the a new logo should come from the statues of mike or from Mike VI himself like the original logo was.

Why does that tiger remind me of Dana Holgerson?

Is that a schlereth tiger?
