You people are ridiculous with your one sided views on who LSU's coach should be. There are a dozen coaches LSU could hire that will keep this program headed in the right direction.

These are probably the same people who defenses Miles to the end. But these knee-jerk, emotional pleas to keep Orgeron had to be expected.

well by all means

I would prefer someone who is actually a brilliant football mind with a track record of developing QB's

Thats what an OC/QB coach is for

You are riding high on Orgeron because he is motivating players he for the most part did not recruit, and because he is letting his asst coaches, that he did not hire, coach. How does this make any sense?

its results, thats how it makes sense

I bet (at least hope) you are not in charge in your line of work. I bet you get your panties wet over a pretty resume---hire the dipshit from harvard instead of the blue collar get the job done guy from a state school---

I'll look at results
you keep looking at your metrics

cutcliff, O, and Nutt were a combined 68-85.
buy yeah, lets extract O's record

Coach O
10-25 ( .285)

Every other coach since 2000
68-85 (.444)

Every coach ever at Ole Miss
655-504-35 (.563)

nobody could get a better record at Ole Miss than Coach O?

I think all anyone has said is that if he wins out he deserves the job....

and he will have earned it at that point.

O can actually prove on the field what no other candidate can - that he can beat the sec west teams. If he does this, what do the other candidates have over him? He's already proven he can recruit at the highest level and be the face of the program. All in for O!

no, sometimes there isn't. the grass is greener crew is typical. it's not that easy.

"fit" is the greatest factor in coaching success. Great football minds dont always "fit"

Everybody's hero Saban fell flat on his limp dick when he didn't "fit"

So you are saying, because of his record at ole miss 10 years ago, he cant change and improve as a coach? And he hasnt improved since then?

I've been looking for more recent results from him being a full-time HC but haven't found any, do you think you could help me out?

Lol, you are all Louisiana clearly. People with your thinking are the reason the entire state is broke. Making a decision that can potentially cost tens of millions of dollars based off of three games instead of someones entire career/resume. This is why LSU will not hire someone from Louisiana as their AD anymore.

Do you believe that Jimbo or Herman would have lost any of these 3 games?

yes, if you can't beat NAVY AND SMU with a "top 10" team than you sure as frick can lose to Mizz, USM, and OM.

Fair enough. He'll have a chance to prove it, but he hasn't yet, which is the point of most people who are skeptical.

I thought Coach O wasn't coaching those games, that's what the OC/DC were doing? Ya'll are getting me confused with the narrative here, is he coaching them or not?

So Orgeron is the only answer and LSU will never be successful again if we dont give him the job????

If you can't beat PSU with one of the 3 most talented teams in CFB, then you can also lose to Mizzou, USM, and Ole Miss.
