Let's review: I for one live in a mandatory evacuation zone but drove an hour and a half to be at the game...wondering if the Hurricane was going to take my home...dude, it kind of takes the spring out of one's step; It was 10:00 in the freaking morning in 90 degree temp; Our basketball arena was being readied to accept medical evacs; do you think we had a reason to not be at the top of our game?
Now...I was stopped by some Appy St fans at one point and apologized that they weren't going to get the real Tiger Stadium effect. The fellow asked me, How many fans do you get on a Saturday night, 50,000? I laughed and told him that altho the stadium holds only 92,000, we usually have between 125,000-150,000 folks on campus tailgating, etc. I thought we'd have more than 65,000 but then in retrospect we probably should have stayed home and prepared...instead, we rented a truck in BR, got home, loaded antiques, and irreplaceable items until 2 am then bugged out to our evacuation location...we still are not home as we have no power....sooooooo EXCUS......SSSSSSSSSE, ME if you think Tiger Stadium is not the real Death Valley and that Clemson lame excuse for a football venue IS...geez, man, come back for a night game with no natural disasters pending and your stadium in comparison will be lucky to compare as favorably as some high schools! With that said, I enjoyed the Appy folks I met.

The ROCK with 28,000 makes more noise than Tiger Stadium with 65,000.
Please someone cue the millions and millions of people that bust into laughter at this statement!!!!!!!!!!!
