Well stated TigerFanNKaty. I too have followed the Tigers since the mid 70s. I understand both sides of this argument. Some and it's seems the majority are happy with a W no matter how ugly it may have been and I can't argue that a W is far better than a L, even if it was painful to watch. However, my argument is; with the talent pool that we posses, why are we settling for ugly wins and not striving for excellence? I understand the injury situation this year guys so don't jump on my back already, hear me out. Sports, in general competition, should be teaching us to strive for excellence not complacency. For example; Joe Montana, Joe never was complacent in his strive for excellence. When he reviewed film footage he always saw his flaws and strove to overcome his weak points. I find that remarkable, considering he will be remembered as one the best to ever play the game. That, my friends, is the true heart of a Champion. Yes, we do have a top tier program but, there is certainly room for improvement. Now, if you view this as being a negative statement, well, your a Dick!
