I would say Payton, Parcells, Bellecheck, Sabab, Spurrier, Harbough and a few others. I'm sure the spelling is off on a few but that's a short list.

Payton Winning Percentage: 65%
Miles Winning Percentage: 80%

Uh the games you play in regular season are nothing but games that set you up for the end of the season. If your happy with not being part of the conference ship then great for you.

What does this mean???

A 10 win season should be celebrated

I understand your thought process but let me ask this....should the Saints be happy with a 10 win season and first round loss in the playoffs since their previous history was so deplorable? Not being a smartass but if the talent is there and you have one of the highest paid coaches in the league...no way should coaching decisions be questioned in multiple losses. If you lose because you are outplayed is one thing but if your coach is top dog in the salary dept then his performance should reflect his pay.

No, you are never satisfied with a loss. But what do you judge success by? Everyone wants championships, but there is only 1 NC available for 120 schools to fight over. 1 SEC for 14 schools. Every team in the SEC demands championships, just like every team in the NFL wants super bowls. If your team plays and wins at a high level (which LSU does) then that is all you can ask for. If your beef is with high salaries, we can fire Miles and roll the dice. You may sustain what you have now or do worse, but chances are you will NOT do any better. Ask Auburn, ask Florida, ask Texas, ask USC, ask Tennessee, ask Georgia - there is no silver bullet.

Why is comparing winning percentages dumb? Sean Payton has called some pretty horrendous plays in his day, but also has won a super bowl. It is clear he and front office have zero desire to improve the defense and have made bad decisions trading/drafting players. Sound familiar?

Of course I believe Sean Payton is a winner and has a bright future in NOLA. It can be argued, however, outside the Super Bowl season Payton has been mediocre (according to your logic).

So should we fire Payton?

If you're going to post, at least make an attempt at a valid point. Suggesting 10 or 11 wins is mediocre is just fricking stupid.

I'd be happier if idiots were banned from the internet.

You are a prime example of a frickTARD. YOur name says it all....lay off that shite, its really making you a fricking retard!!

I agree with the OP on 10 win season being mediocre. Out of those 10 wins only 3 were against a quality opponents.

These fricking stupid arse mofo's (sunshine pumpers) don't know shite about being elite. They will always be happy with LSU playing shitty arse team to be 5-0 and then pick on the bottom feeders in SEC and then loose the real games that matter.

I am glad Leslie is being ripped apart by majority of the fans. He has not done anything to deserve that raise and he has lied to the fans on numerous occasions by promising changes for the last 5 yrs. Yes he can talk but that's all he can do....he has no balls to call out his coaches and looks like an idiot on the sideline. He has no idea of clock management and does not know when to call a timeout and regroup and make adjustments.
