I could have coached them to 3-5 last year, plus consider how lucky we were against Troy.

Miles' was forced to kick off his starting QB. His 2nd stringer gets hurt. Now he's stuck with a 3rd and 4th stringer and his 4th stringer cant grasp the playbook.

Maybe you should put your resume in...moron.

What a joke
I don't think there's a person alive not named Lane Kiffin who couldn't have coached them to 3-5.

Yea He did a great job with that shut down defense 50 points given up how many times..And you will be happy with that.
One of the players told me they would have been better off without the coaches calling the plays..

If you know the players so well that they divulge information like that, then maybe you should have offered to coach them. I mean hell, you said you could have done just as good as Miles. I'm sure you would have also found a way to win both the Troy and Auburn game.

You are totally wrong. Our Quarterback play (Jarrett Lee) was the sole reason this year that we ended up where we did.

A fricking moron could have seen that Jefferson was a better QB than Lee. Freshman or not.

So, It was totally Miles' fault for not pulling the trigger with Jefferson early in the year, which led to our downfall last year.

I put it all on Miles.

This is the worst post i have ever seen.

Jarett Lee played valiantly and came out week after week. He may not have performed like we wanted him to, but I agreed with Miles that Jefferson was not ready from what i saw of him earlier in the season. I am by far no fan of Lee's but i give him props for fighting through the boo's and the picks and coming back out and playing week after week.

Now to my main point, our QBs were the most obvious problem but were not the worst. The Defensive was the big issue, and the confusion the players had because of the two defensive coordiantors and all their substitutions was clear(arkansas game for example it was obvious). THere was no discipline and awful schemes.

You can trace all this back to Miles by saying oh well he played the kid so its his fault. You could say it was his fault for promoting the dual-coordinators. You could say he shoulnt of recruited Perilloux and kept McCoy! Everyone make mistakes and this one season all of Miles mistakes built up and showed.

And guess what he did as soon as the off-season/ end of the regular season got here? He adressed everyone of those issues and appears to have righted the ship and gotten things back on track. DOnt judge a coach in their glory days, judge them on how they rebound from bad seasons and how they build/rebuild a dynasty? A real coach will be able to do that and I think Miles so far has done a helluva a job getting LSU back after our slip up last season!

BomBayTiger you are one of the most pessimistic LSU fans I have ever met, I mean why try to dwell on the scenario of another bad season when all are expectations are high and most of us think we are going to have a great season bringing the glory of LSU back into the spotlight.

That's what I'm saying, they did not even need a coach to go 3-5..
He has done a great job getting his staff upgraded and great job recruiting now let it show on the field..

Ill let you know if that happens. I mean thats exactly what im saying, why worry about this now and get down about a football season and how bad it could be when it appears to have alot of promise.

I don't see it happening either, the team is hungry, the coaches are hungry, the future looks bright.. just playing along with the thread.. but we can't live with what happened last year..

Wrong...It is a serious discussion because if we lose games like last year, Miles will be on the the ropes.

Why not discuss it? You Douchebag.

Thats not what this thread is about. This was just an easier way for Bombay to start a thread to bash Miles' and he obviously has no football knowledge if says Miles' is the only reason for last season.
