If LSU wins @UK tomorrow night, 2/23 v/s Tennessee will be for the SEC

If the Tigers can win in Rupp Arena tomorrow night, we will play Tennessee for the conference title in the P-Mac on 2/23.
That's not to take away from the Florida games or the remaining game @Bama, I just foresee UK and Tennessee splitting their remaining 2 bouts. If we are able to beat UK tomorrow @ 6 pm in front of the entire country, that means they could have 3 SEC losses before welcoming Tennessee back to Rupp. If we then beat Tennessee on 2/23, that leaves room for us to lose another game along the way, considering we would own the tie-breaker. In this case, we'd be the SEC co-champions.
Yes, I'm getting ahead of myself, but that Auburn victory was proof that this team can win the SEC. Of all the comebacks (including the 2nd half comebacks), Auburn has proven all season that they are not a team who lets teams come from behind to beat them. LSU was simply the better team Saturday. We beat a hot-shooting Auburn team in the trenches, and that's literally the only way to beat a team like Auburn.

@Bama and @Florida are no gimmes. Florida isn’t going to roll over here in BR either. I think we’ll easily handle Vandy and Aggy at home but we have some battles left.

We could go 4 and 4. Or 7 and 1. I am hoping for 6 and 2.

Tennessee has a 10-0 record right now. LSU has a 9-1 record. If LSU beats Tennessee to have an 11-1 record, Tennessee would also be 11-1. That gives LSU a tie-breaker over Tennessee (not that tie-breakers mean much of anything in basketball), but it does not give LSU a cushion to lose another game

The big thing is Tenn and UK play twice. So best assumption on that series is a split.

absolutely. what I'm hoping for regarding Florida is that they have played themselves out of the tournament by the time we play them, and they've all but completed that.
Bama gonna bubble; it's just what they do.

UK only has 1 SEC loss. At worst, if LSU wins tomorrow, they would only have 2 SEC losses before they host Tenn. on Saturday.
That aside, winning at Bama will be a tall task. For whatever reason, LSU seems to never win there. In fact, I can't remember the last time LSU won at Bama. They even lost there the last two times they (LSU) won the SEC.

It is probably more likely that LSU loses more of their remaining games than UT does. Sure, if we assume LSU wins out they'd be in great shape.

I didn't say that.
UK loses to LSU and @Tennessee once (3 loses in total)
Tennessee loses to LSU and @UK (2 loses in total)
LSU loses @Bama (for example) (2 loses in total)
LSU still wins the SEC because we own the tie-breaker with Tenn.

You didn't say what you posted below either.

There are no tie-breakers to determine basketball champions. Only thing the tie-breakers matters for is seeding in the SECT.

That's true. LSU would technically be a co-champion.
