If LSU wins SEC, Wade should be candidate for Naismith Coach of the Year

If LSU takes care of business and wins the SEC, and makes a little noise in the dance, Wade better be a top candidate for national COY Award. Major roster overhaul with only 2 significant guys playing from last year's team. Predicted to finish 6th in SEC preseason. He deserves some national recognition for his achievements this year.

If we win SEC and make a Final Four I 100% agree. From a 10-21 dumpster fire to potentially the best season in LSU bball history in just 2 years is unbelievable.
He should win it in that case, not just be a candidate.

Yea I posted this earlier. Couple people made some decent points though on why a couple of other coaches would be considered before wade. Find that thread if you want. It was called “Wade for Coach of the Year?”

Final Four isn't a prereq. Tony Bennett won COY last year after UVA was the first 1 seed to ever lose to a 16. They only lost 3 games all year, but still.
