IF Alleva to TN, does he know something about our NCAA situation?

Why else would anyone leave a school with a winning recent history for a school that hasn't won anything major in ten years, has a basketball team that is about to get slapped with sanctions, and is going on probation?
Does this possibly mean that we are in some more trouble with the NCAA no one really knows about, and he is trying to jump ship before shite gets deep?
Just thinking aloud. Carry on.

Because he's a basketball guy, and Tennessee is a basketball school.

You know what I meant, of course football is huge there, but they have had a relevant basketball program for years. LSU may never totally embrace basketball again.

I do not know what JA knows about our NCAA sit (if there is one), but I do know this, Dan R was TN 1st choice and was about to be the man before GT NCAA thing hit, so I VERY much doubt TN would take JA w/o feeling pretty good about LSU not getting a major prob anytime soon..the ONLY reason JA got shot was cuz DR got axe at last minute...public knowledge in tn, take it for what its worth

Also, he still has a home in NC doesn't he? That's pretty damn close to TN.

I'm not sure why probation matters for an AD. They don't have win-loss records. It does for a coach, but I can see an AD wanting to accept the challenge of shepherding a school through sanctions. Besides, why would he want to stay at LSU with our crybaby fans who hate him for no good reason?

Maybe Les has told him it would be best if he looked for another position, ala Crowton

Maybe he reads the rant?
He's not exactly popular around here and I'm guessing he knows it.

Why? More money and closer to home?

Mostly because you're an idiot.

Not sure if serious.
If their job is to manage a school's athletic department, seems like a major program being on probation would affect that.
If a program is on probation, that reflects poorly on the AD, not just the coach of the team on probation.
