Point being Fisher game planned the opponent, coached the QB's and called the plays. This is not happening at LSU...
I'm thinking the same. We call two time outs and still come up with total fail (on the jump pass fiasco).
We need one brain running the O, not bits and pieces from different sources.

I coached at the high school level as well...in the freaking late '90's. There's also a thing called halftime adjustments. As an old D coach in the NO area, I do know this...LSU's offense is INSANELY predictable. Audibles seem almost non-existent. It doesn't take a coach, current or former, to defensively scheme against this offense. Our damned HS offense...in the f'ing 90's...was ALOT more complex and diverse than this farce.

So where do you coach at? How much do they pay you? Where have you coached before? Bout what I figured, all the real coaches are working on next opponent, not running their mouths off!

Coaches are little more than highly paid PE teachers. It isn't rocket science. Some of us were playing football before these coaches were born.
Also, the principles of installing a basketball offense and defense are the same as a football team or any sport. Having a system, teaching it, repetition, etc.
We got problems, pal.

most coaches that rant prefer scotch. it can be cheap.
most coaches that rant have never coached d-1 sec team.
most coaches that rant NEVER had an over 50% wins.
there are some level headed coaches that look at the lsu coaching staff and players in an objective manner, using positive inspiration.
not many sober winning coaches on the rant.

you can always hear the personal attacks.
you can't be a winning coach w/out being positive.

p.s. h.s./p.e. coach. nuttin' big, but always tried to inspire.

It's called halftime adjustments and seeing that running the ball up the middle isn't as easy as it used to be. The coaching is terrible. The OC/QB coaches need to get Mett to step up in the pocket. He drops back and just sits there without stepping into his throws. They also need to start utilizing 84 over the middle and using Hill in the screen game. Hill or even Ford can easily pick up big yardage on screens. It doesn't take an experienced coach to see that.
