The positigers expectations for the next year and beyond are gonna be the death of Miles career. All I see on here are posts claiming a National Title for next year and why we will be #1 in the country before the season. What positigers are doing is setting expectations way too high for Mett and Miles. I think it's fair to give Mett 1 year to develop and get used to the SEC. It's also fair to set minimum expectations at an SEC West Title. I would be happy to get back to Atlanta. After that we will see what happens. Positigers are putting this team in the Title game with Mett leading the way next year. Very unfair. If it happens great but not fair to Miles or Mett.
I agree completely. Our expectations should be that we have a good year...period! Beyond that, a lot of what happens depends on luck, injuries, scheduling, etc. You can never expect that all the breaks will fall your way. You just want to be good enough so that if they do, you can take advantage of them. And I think we will be that good over the next couple of years at least...probably more in '12 than in '11. Long term, we should expect that we have lots of 11-2, 10-3 seasons, that we can occationally break through with championships when everything falls into place (like it did for Auburn this year), and that a "down" year for us continues to be 8-5. That, to me, is a successful program.

We have been the most talented team in the country with the worst record every year Miles has been here
You have nothing to supprot that.
There is nothing to prove that LSU is the most talented team in the country.

So are excuses for victories.
Ray you know even less about football than you do about politics. Stick to what you know.
Which is what?
