You calling someone else an idiot is like Les Miles calling a spike with 1 second left.

However, if they come out slow, lethargic, lack luster, and lose, we will know that Les has lost the team and it is only a matter of time till he is fired.

C'mon brah. You know how the Rant works. If LSU wins by 37 points, all of the above will be listed anyway.

Even when Miles did win the Natinal Championship do any of you remember what happened that year? First, we went to the N.c. with two losses which will probably not happen again. Next, we beat Auburn at home on the last play of the game which was another clock mismanagement game. I might add that Auburn played a better game than us. Secondly, we beat Fla. at home by converting 5 fourth downs. Lastly, Saban's talent is gone and it will only go down from here unless changes come.

I'm really not implying they won't. I should have worded it this way, if they play poorly we will know he has lost the team.

Good one! Nobody's heard anything about a spike all week. How did you harness all that brainpower?

You could say we've been headed the wrong way ever since Nick put on that ugly neon blue.

So who do you suggest that's a realistic prospect?

Forget about NFL coaches, they aren't stupid enough to put their foot in this chipper shredder.

Forget Kelly, he's going to Notre Dame.

Who do you think is going to come in here and save the day and be better than Nick was and send us the 'right direction' after we've run off an NC coach with the best run of any coach we've had at this school?

And where is that money going to come from? We fire Les this year and we're going to have serious problems paying the new Jesus. And like I said before, we can't even IMAGINE what the next guy's buyout is going to look like. What if we're wrong?

We lost Muschamp. We lost Jimbo. We lost Pellini. How exactly are we supposed to hit it out of the park every time when we lose coordinators like that?

They aren't ALL as good as those guys. Wishing they were doesn't change it.

Really? LSU 488 Total yards, Auburn 296 Total yards.

Average per play: LSU 7.2 yards, Auburn 4.7 yards

Did you even watch the game??

So how did you NOT notice LSU putting up almost double the yardage & then make an assanine statement about how they played better?

I have a copy of the game I can send you to refresh your memory. LSU played well in that game and right before that play, you could see LM swinging his forearm in a circle saying to Matt Flynn 'let'sgo'!

Selective memory perhaps, but it does not change the other points I made.

Are you saying that standing pat with Les Miles is the best we can do? I find that hard to believe. Based upon the product I have seen on the field, almost anyone would be an upgrade at this point.

Why bring up Saban? I didn't. You still didn't answer my question. Are we headed in the right direction, or the wrong direction? Is it a good thing to fire both the OC and DC in successive years?

If Les is the honorable man everyone claims him to be, he should accept a structured buyout to allow for an orderly transition.

Good programs lose coordinators all the time. It doesn't set them back two years, except in our case LM is only as good as his assistants allow him to be. Florida seems to be faring well without Mullen. Wonder why that is?

Perhaps you should take that up with Pete Carroll.

Should he be on the hot seat right now too?

Interesting. Steve Kragthorpe or Dan Hawkins at this point seem a good idea to improve the LSU "Product" you see. Either one of them could take the "Product" & win more than 10 games per season?

No dumbass, he shouldn't. Carroll built that program back up to where it is now, and he is beloved in Southern Cal.

You still haven't answered the basic question. Are headed in the right or wrong direction?

Would you continue to take 10 win seasons if it meant losing to Fla., Alabama and ole miss every year?

Yes, he is culling our toothless badwagon.

Now we need to cull blind-faith fans who were no doubt behind Curely Hallman.

And toothless coaches who populate most of LSU's staff.

Sammich and faxis, I am on here every week saying the same thing to dumbass LSU who have no perspective. They think we can get any coach we want, as if it's that easy; and if we did get a big time coach, that we should win every game as if bama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, OSU, USCw, Oregon, etc, are going to be inferior at that point, permanently!
