I guess we will know tonight. If the team comes out, plays well, and wins, we will know there is hope. However, if they come out slow, lethargic, lack luster, and lose, we will know that Les has lost the team and it is only a matter of time till he is fired.

The co coordinators were a stop gap because we couldn't get anyone good in here at the time. We knew we were fricked last year after getting rid of RP. He was right to do it. We got a real DC at the end and our D had done a complete 180.
Hoping we can do the same with the OC and put this crap behind us finally.

Faxis, what makes you think Miles will get rid of the current OC ,He should have did it last week.

Nice post. Who was Stovall replaced by? Who was DiNardo replaced by? Crap, even DiNardo was an upgrade. Think before you type.

No, Miles thought it was a good idea.

I can understand this point. Doesn't explain this season. Also shows Miles lack of preparation or thinking ahead because we went into last season with Hatch as the starter. This is after continual issues with RP and even fans speculating he'd be kicked off for a year prior to Miles pulling the trigger.

quote:Miles is an offensive coach, there is no way he shouldn't be on top to the offensive strategy. If Crowton is sucking, change it. A good HC wouldn't have let the offense become this bad and not intervene - even take over OC duties.

You don't look at the entire picture.

Apparently your Forefathers didn't think so in 1998 & 1999.

I love it, during the beginning of the season, Miles was a bad coach because y'all thought he was meddling in Crowton's scheme. When it became clear that he wasn't at the end of the season, y'all criticizing Miles because he isn't meddling in Crowton's scheme. Get a grip folks, let's kick the shite outta the hogs

I agree that we need a new OC. However, if Miles' future is regarded as "questionable" by the coaching community how can LSU expect to hire an elite OC?
Wouldn't a new HC want to bring in his own staff?

Facts that are easily addressed with a new OC.
Miles hasn't called the offense, ever. You can blame him for hiring Crowton and not firing him soon enough.
Hey faxis:
Would you agree that a team that has to fire both its OC and DC in successive years is clearly a program headed in the wrong direction?
I don't see how anyone could argue otherwise.

faxis, why dont you gets Les's balls out of your mouth before you post? The taste of his scrotum seems to disorient you from reality.

Find one time I ever said Miles was holding Crowton back. Go ahead. Find it.
