I'd take any of Pelini's defenses right now
These clowns are running Pelini's "rush four, drop seven, and NEVER blitz" defense.

Boy, the Saban nostalgia is just flowing today. It was only a matter of time.
Dude I would not trade our coach, but to say that our defense is as good as it was when he and Muschamp were here is just stupid.

how is giving qbs all day to throw protecting our secondary. the best cover corners can only cover for so long. by getting the qb on the move and bumping the receivers, we have a better chance to defend vs letting receivers run around until they are open. by the way, someone asked where the turnovers are. guess what else blitzing does??? ints and fumbles on sacks. we did not win and have not won the down and distance battles all year. lets fix this before south carolina and roll the rest of the year as we should.

Dont know if you were really responding to me but I totally agree with you. I was saying the "protecting our corners" argument is BS.

Well, I remember them talking about what Pelini did. They train the guys and Pelini get the defense ready for whoever they are playing. As in he study the film and comes up with packages to use against them. There a reason he was in the NFL. He can spot what the other team is doing and call the appropriate packages to try and counter it. I was hoping Tommy was calling Bo Pelini during half time for some pointers.
