Be careful bc I commented on this the other day. Morgan is the best first baseman in college and has no business in left. I know many believe Jones belongs in the lineup but it needs to be some other way. I’m not critiquing Morgan bc I think he’s not only the best first baseman but he also has one of the best eyes and approach to hitting. Jones needs to be somewhere else too bc he’s missed several digs that Morgan would have fielded.
I’ll admit I’m an armchair coach but this is strictly my opinion. Lastly, I know Jones is good but he strikes out a lot (Jones 53 Ks /in 126 vs Morgan 16Ks in 144).

Because Beloso has been playing great as the DH. The best overall version of this lineup is Jones at 1st and Morgan in left and Beloso at DH.

All those downvotes and he just missed one. People on here are too sensitive to criticize anyone.
We really need to criticize these unnecessary baserunners allowed. If this team wasn’t exceptional on offense we would be having just an above average year.
