I have no problem with run first philosophy, BUT...

First off all, I love seeing my Tigers impose their will on the ground. We do it as good as anyone in the country.
But, that doesn't excuse our inability to effectively implement:
1. Marquee receivers year after year. On our current roster that would include players such as such as Landry, and Beckham Jr. Last year it would have been Randle.
2. Utilize backs better in the passing game, like we did with Joseph Addai back in the day. Ware seemed underutilized in this regard. Seems that using the big fellas like Copeland and Hilliard from time to time this way could work.
3. And the Tight ends. Seems like Clement might have been capable of more, but what looks did he get in 4 years here? 20-30? We had Dickson coming around in the last couple of games. Does Edwards play TE anymore? Is Nic Jacobs gonna remain at TE? Supposedly Desean Smith is the real deal.
I think it keeps a defense off balance when they have to be ready for a pass to a back or tight end on any given play.
So, if Cameron can just better utilize our passing game with our numerous weapons in a run heavy offense, I am down with that.

Didn't Nic Jacobs transfer? Can't say I blame him. That guy also looked like he could be legit.

Wasn't he breaking team rules and whatnot?

I don't see Jacobs on the roster. Was he #84?

Maybe. I don't know what the story is. Sucked to find out he was gone though. Thought he could be really good.
