dumb question, doesn't Bama players play better for fear of Nick Saban jumping in their asses? everytime McElroy made a dumb mistake he took his time walking back to the sidelines because he knew he was about to get his arse ripped!
face it, LSU players don't get that kind of coaching anymore!

I like Rece but he has been the main influence at ESPN with regards to making Les look like the clueless wonder that he has become.

one more thing, I could see Saban having seizures and going into convulsions with that spiking the ball debacle last season involving Jefferson and Les.

you can go on defending Miles, idk, I hope he does turn it around this year, but he is not the coach Saban is, hell, neither is Meyer for that matter.

I would definitely trade our JJ and JL for Bama's qb. He's alot like Mauck and Flynn in that here is nothing impressive, he just manages the game.

I don't think Miles is as good of a coach as Saban.
I would disagree on Meyer. He is definitely just as good. They Just have different styles.

Saban who scares players so much they are always afraid to make mistakes for fear of him going nuts. That has been missing at LSU for awhile, right now Lee would be afraid to death throw a pic 6 with Saban around, and Jefferson would just plain be terrified.
This times 100000000000. Kids HAVE to fear the coach and they do NOT fear Miles.
Finally others are getting this point. When times changed, so did the Dale Brown approach to being everyone's friend. Kids are not learning respect growing up as much as they used to, and therefore it isn't built into them to do what they are told without being hard on tehm soemtimes. They must fear the consequences and I do not believe LSU's players do.
