I didn't know. . .

I didn’t know that true LSU fans loathe their coach, boo their team and ridicule anyone who dares to do differently.
I didn’t know that it is our job to make sure the team knows how disgusted we are with the coach, how disappointed we are with ugly wins and how much we want them to turn on each other and the coaches to prove a point. I didn’t know that no sacrifice is too great to reach our goal--Les Miles must go at any cost!
Good grief people, you don’t have to like how the team is being coached but you don’t have to destroy the team while making your point. Don’t you think the boys read your comments? Don’t you think they take your comments to heart? Do you even think that if you keep planting seeds of negativity they will start looking at their coaches and teammates differently? Do you want the team to NOT be excited, to NOT think they have a chance to win?
The football gods smiled on us and now we have Mr. Chavis in control of a fearsome defense that continues to improve and we have the awesome Mr. Peterson, the amazing Mr. Ridley, and the dependable Mr. Jasper on our team. Our special teams are terrific.
Just like the defense, our offense is going to turn around. In the meantime, we have 4 wins 0 losses and are #10 in the coaches poll and #12 in the AP. Let’s see what the team can do with 100% of the fan base behind them. Let’s see what can happen with everyone in the stadium chanting LSU instead of booing if someone makes a mistake or there is a bad play. I can promise you the players will respond and we will go into the hardest part of our schedule not only with confidence but with swagger.

CrazyforLSU--Les Miles is like Larry Holmes. LSU fan's have not gotten over Saban dumping them for a hotter chick.
Just like boxing fans never accepted Larry Holmes as a great champion because he follow Ali and didn't run his mouth like Ali.
Les knows his team, loves his job, and will do what he believes is best for the team. And LSU will be fine...even if we don't win the National Championship every year.

Not gonna happen. Some here try to refrain from saying anything positive about the program because they're afraid it might be misinterpreted as saying something positive about Miles.....and we can't have that.
How many threads have you seen the last few days about how great the defense has played, how much the running game has improved, or how much the special teams have improved? Not many...and theres a reason for that.

Some people just can't be happy. Why not bitch and moan when we actually lose a game. Why do people have to get ahead of themselves. What if we beat Tenn ugly, then beat Fla ugly? Will these people stop then? Nope. They'll just say we won't beat......blah, blah, blah. We are undefeated! Run and tell that!

Great post, I couldn't agree more.

maybe we should just forfeit the UF,AU,ARK games because the rant says we can't win them. People need to realize champions are made with defense, a running game and special teams. When the other team can't score we win. I am not going to give up on a 4-0 team just because trashing anything and everything Les Miles does or says is the cool thing to do.

I hope you're right but would like to refer you to 2008 and 2009...

Let's see, want the coach gone, want the QB on the bench, booing, but a killer defense...
...yeah, ask Charley Mack about all that.
...or Jerry Stovall.
...or Mike Archer.
...or Curley Hallman.
...or Gerry Dinardo.
Haven't been a fan too long, have you?

Sitting in Tiger Stadium Saturday night thinking our recruiting brochure should have the slogan:
Be a Tiger & our fans will boo you when we're ahead! Actually, Tiger Stadium holds more people than most La. towns have citizens. It goes to show that in just about any situation, there's going to be at least 10% of the people who will act like jackasses. So, to the 9,200 who booed their own team on Saturday, Thanks alot for helping LSU football get better. I'm sure there's a direct correlation between booing and the improvement of one's football team...or is there?

sorry to bust your bubble, but i think it was about 9200 that weren't booing....not counting the couple hundred thousand watching on the tube that were booing
