I went last year for the first time. I had to take the GMAT 3 days after it ended and didn't study at all while I was there. Probably not the smartest idea, but it was worth it. Easily the best LSU trip/experience I have had. Great atmosphere. We may bitch alot here on the rant about LSU sports, but there is no doubt we are the best fans when it comes to Omaha and the CWS. We took over Rosenblatt completely in every game we played in. I was told by multiple bar owners (not just Barrett's) to make sure my group came back as many nights as possible and to come back every year because we brought so much energy and excitement.

i have been in omaha five times (luckily saw the tigers win it 3 times) .. one of those years was 2001 when the tigers weren't there .. i kid you not, the difference i saw in the crowds was borderline epic ..

fwiw, i lived there for 8 years and the the late 2000's when LSU didnt make it, they set records on crowds like back to back to back years. We definitely have the edge as far as team fans are concerned but rosenblatt will not be hurting this year without us I promise you that

not to mention there has never been a more "bandwagon" town like omaha. Every year the city just picks a team to like..it's kind of funny actually. for a while it was oregon state, and then UNC.
