What did Mike Haywood do that impressed? I remember he was special teams coach when we had D Davis and then Skyler Green. Those two guys were great but blocks in the back and holding penalties killed us. Once Haywood left and Dooley was made special teams coach the penalties ceased. Green continued to be spectacular and the runs counted.
but it's undeniable how well our running backs performed when he was here.
