How many semi final appearances would LSU have if they played in the ACC?

Legit question. Since the CFP. Basically the start of the Fournette era.
3? Obviously we would replace Clemson so we wouldn’t play them.

All them except the Florida state undefeated year for sure. And even then, that team was not that good

Obviously 2019, most likely 2018, most likely 2017, maybe 2016 (we did beat Louisville who was 2nd in the ACC), maybe 2015, don't really think so 2014.

I don’t think Les was leading a team to the playoffs in his last years and 2017 was not a good team

Who says that happens if we play in the ACC? That team got it together, so I'll give then benefit of the doubt that the Troy thing doesn't happen then.
You're missing the point of this thread. The ACC is garbage and Clemson basically has gotten an auto berth into the playoffs on account of it

The first month or so of 2017 was really bad. They played much better by the end of the year but that team was not making the playoffs in any conference
