When they cancel the season and these players decide if they aren’t playing ball they don’t have to show up for classes, how many will be academically ineligible whenever they play again?
My guess is quite a few.

I’m sure their will so many exemptions this year, it’s going to make everyone’s head spin, from qualifying scores to academics, etc...

As far as I can find the NCAA hasn't adjusted it's rules at all. Except for cleats, can't wear cleats the first 2 weeks of practice.
But the rules regarding what I can only guess fall under the category of impermissible benefits have not been excepted for players. This has implications in things that seem like you would never apply them.
I'll give you a pertinent example:
Whatever testing you do for your athletes has to be available to all students, not just athletes. Some schools neither want to or can afford to (or just can't) test them all. And how does that apply if no students are on campus EXCEPT athletes. Again, NCAA hasn't adjusted at all.
My guess is they don't want to adjust so they can apply infractions where they want to, and ignore those they don't.

How will scholarships work? Will players be forced to lose a year?
Will they only allow a certain amount of people to negotiate for an extra year of eligibility per team?
Will players who transfered and had the one year redshirt rule, qualify for another eligible year and still pass the required year for redshirt (if a certain amount of people get another year of eligibility.
Throw everything out and if they just say this year counts towards eligibility, consider it like everybody played or guys who still have redshirts, redshirted,
. Some guys that transfered to play this year as senior grads or redshirt seniors, will lose MILLIONS if they can't improve stock. I mean if this happened last year, Burrow is a 5th round pick at best with only 2018 tape.
