put him up on this ring of honor thing theyre doing, thats good enough

i haven't heard anything about this but i like the idea of an area with a ring of honor honoring great coaches. going back a ways, LSU has several that should qualify. we tend to forget about the old days, but we have had some damn good players and coaches.

He WILL get honored after his retirement, unless his departure from LSU football is dishonorable.

Bertman is alive, was A.D. for a short while, and has a street named after him (was it during his tenure as A.D.?).

Shaq just retired from the NBA, but I think his statue was in the works for a short time period before his actual retirement.

I don't see a situation without Les Miles' name/image isn't memorialized on SOMETHING.

He's pretty much the most successful coach in the most revered sport at the flagship institution of the state of Louisiana.

Changing the name of North Stadium Drive to Les Miles Drive would be appropriate....or the plaza between the PMAC and North Stadium that is supposed to be developed.....

How 'bout a huge retractable white hat over Tiger Stadium to keep the rain out for those "never" rains in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night.

The practice facility is named after Cholly Mac and he has zero

I loved Cholly Mac and I find it hypocritical of LSU to name something after him having fired him.

However, I am glad that he is remembered.
