You do not, particularly on defense and in the trenches.
I realize you guys are tired of us bringing up recent history but you're forcing our hand. Technically, we haven't had the athletes to go toe to toe with you for over a decade but somehow we've beat you 2 out of the last 3 (omitting Nutt's W).

From a pure Xs and Os standpoint, that's probably right. However, being the head coach at a major college program is so much more than Xs and Os, it isn't funny.
From an Xs and Os standpoint, it's 100% accurate. No one will confuse Les Miles with a football genius. He would qualify for having the biggest set of balls in the coaching ranks with some of the plays he's called over the years. Bobby's not afraid to pull the trigger on some crazy shite either though.

That's true - the game starts 0-0 and Appy State beat Michigan, despite having virtually zero chance. Vegas says ya'll have about a 13% chance, I put it at 10% - and I even think Arkansas is 1 of the 5 best teams in the country right now - there's just such a gap between the top 2 and the rest of the top 25. (In Little Rock, I would give ya'll closer to a 25% chance).
I think 10% and 13% is insulting. I think 35-40% chance is a more accurate reflection of our chances. 100% of you are free to disagree with my opinion, and I'm fine with that. One thing is for sure, one fan base is going to be devastated.

I dare Joe Adams to not call for a fair catch and attempt to return a Brad Wing punt.
That challenge will be accepted. I'd be more surprised if Wing kicks one that is actually returnable.

That was my point. Wing is very good at putting the ball where his teammates can down it in great field position with no possible return. It's what great punters do: don't allow the opponents to advance.

Well, Breeding is just as good. He hasn't pinned as many inside the 20 but we're not typically punting if we're in opponent's territory. We've got a kicker that can make it from 55 and a coach with a sack to go for it on 4th down.

by virtue of watching both teams the last few weeks. Arkansas has made the most improvement and I simply think we're playing better than LSU at this point in the season.
What has LSU done to show you that they are not playing well right now? Let's look at "recent history". In the last 4 games, LSU has beaten Auburn 45-10, beaten Alabama 9-6, beaten Western Kentucky 42-9, and beaten Ole Miss 52-3. Looks to me like we are scoring an average of 37 points a game and giving up an average of 7 points a game in the last 4 games. How is LSU not playing well?

But I truly believe we're going to win by virtue of watching both teams the last few weeks. Arkansas has made the most improvement and I simply think we're playing better than LSU at this point in the season.
What made you think that in your assesment the past few weeks? Was it the win we got at Bama at the same field you got pasted by 24? Or maybe it was the 52-3 annihilation of Ole Miss on the same field your team needed a miracle to find a way to win in the 4th.
I'm not saying your team isn't playing better than they were earlier in the year. Obviously they would have to or they would not be pulling out wins. But at least admit ya'll are just as bias and sometime delusional as we are with some of the stuff ya'll are saying, including yourself.

The only road game we lost was to 'Bama. It was the only game we lost period. I reason I believe we'll play better on the road Saturday is just we're playing better period. Our defensive starters are back and healthy. And the defense is playing MUCH better than against 'Bama, Vandy, and Ole Missy. Our running backs are healthy. Greg Child's head is back in the game and we're finally using our tight end effectively. Lastly, our special teams truly are special. You're going to find out. I dare you to punt to Joe Adams. LSU will looking for their jocks!
You hope you play better on the road but there is no reason for you to think you will play better on the road other than pure hope. The fact that you have played better and gotten better the past few weeks have all been in home games is nice for your team, but it's apples and oranges to compare on the road.
The fact remains you have yet to prove you could play anywhere close to your A game in any of your road games outside the state of Arkansas this year. And you will have to play a damn near perfect A game to take down the Tigers in TS on Friday.
This could be your first game out of 5 attemps where it all comes together for you, but any reason other than you "hope it happens" is not very logical reasoning.
Lastly why would we punt to Adams when we can pin you inside your 10 yard line everytime?

It's possible, just like alot of things are possible, but since you havn't played anywhere close to lights out or a complete ballgame this year on the road, why should anybody other than Arky homers think it will happen? I don't ever remember seeing a team look so much different on the road versus at home.

Well, we are discussing Hogville right?

Not me, I was taking your direct quote and trying to logically make sense of the statement because I wasn't understanding where you got the idea from.

Oh, I don't know...I've watched a lot of sports and seen some things. If this game was played on paper you guys would have lost to Alabama.

We sure are hearing that "if" word alot from Arky people this week. "If only for the turnovers not hapening and if only we didn't have so many injuries we beat Alabama", "If we beat LSU this week we should go to the Championship" etc etc. If only saying "If" alot made things happen for sure I would be very concerned about your team winning this game.
