I’m not saying he’s one of the best Friday guys we have had or the most consistent but if we give him time and he actually figures it out he will be damn good

Hess has always had the stuff to be the Friday night guy weve come to expect (demand?). His inconsistency and tendency to throw too many pitches has been his downfall. Even some of his games that he Pitched wellhe just threw too many pitches on a Friday that throws off our bullpen. He's been good Hess lately, the pitcher most I think knew he had the potential to be. Tonight was another awesome performance by him. I'm proud and hope he can at least keep it near this level through the rest of the season. He'll be a rich man if he can.
