I don't know what Les was thinking on this. Stud is probably the worst coach on the team. Give me BG or even FW. I hope I am wrong, but I think we are seriously screwed. We will be yelling can we have Crowton back.

Stud was actually a pretty good offensive coordinator in the past and who else is there available?

1.) Stud can't be worse than Crowton.
2.) We don't need a tricky scheme, we just need 2 line up ,execute and play smashmouth football. Thats how were built!
3.) We all bitched last year because we didn't have a good QB coach, now thats the focus of one very capable man!
Prayers to Coach K, he's had a rough few years. As tiger fans let's b a needed blessing in this good man's life!

Impressive resume for the MAC, WAC, etc. He takes home more as an SEC OL coach then any OC in the secondary conferences. IMO he will be OL coach in '12.

He thinks that Bowling Green and the Falcons are two different teams.

I'm loving what I read in his bio. He's put up monster numbers before even though it was just in the MAC. People also have to see that we have waaaay better talent over here at LSU so the he put up x amount in this of that conference doesn't matter.

Our talent equals and surpasses most in the SEC so why would it be different. I'm sure that his talent over there equaled or surpassed most in that conference so there's not that much difference.

Seems like Mahlzan's(sp?) offense has been working good the past 2 years with a dominant QB and a less than average QB.

You do realize that if Coach Stud's offense can equal the numbers he put up in any of his four years as an offensive coordinator, and with our defense, LSU is National Champions in a cakewalk.

Was he the OC during Urban Meyer's time at Bowling Green?

Oline. He became OC after Meyer left.

That's what I like about it. HE was the man and not under an offensive masterminded coach. HIS offenses put up those monster numbers for four straight years!!

I'm sure it's been mentioned a thousand times but, did the renegotiate contracts? If not I'm sure they will stay loyal to stud after he took on more redponsibility sans incentives.

Either way, though I think kragthorpe will still have the most share of infuluence this year, I'm looking forward to this team's improvement.
