Would it make sense if Alleva performed his coaching "search" with a stipulation that the defensive coaching staff needed to be retained and that's why the list was so short?
Do you disagree if this was true?

With the performance of the defense this year, I can't really envision any potential coach wanting to change that.

Obviously I agree with you but new coaches for the most part clean house and brings in their guys.

I seriously doubt that the list was short because of the stipulation on keeping our DC. The list was short because CEO was his third choice and if you already know CEO can be hired then no need to look further down the list.
