yep, in the past, our pitcher would have walked in that 3rd run on that 3-2 pitch. He threw it 95 down the middle to one of their top hitters.
That is the way a relief pitcher is supposed to pitch.
If we get more of that from all our relievers, and we can hit in the clutch like last night, this team might go somewhere. I hope so! It is much more fun to watch and anticipate great play than expecting the worst, which is basically what we have had up to last night.
